About Us

Skillpoint Alliance is a nonprofit organization that provides workforce training in the skilled trades industry. Currently in the Permian Basin we provide a Pre-Apprentice Electrical and HVAC course. Our mission is to help our students find entry level job positions in these areas through an accelerated course that takes either 4 or 5 weeks to complete. A student that completes our program finishes with their TDLR (Texas Department of Licensing and Registration) license as either an electrical apprentice or a ACR (Air conditioning and refrigeration) technician, OSHA-10, and either their Greenlee certification (electrical) or the EPA 608 (HVAC).
