Mental Health First Aid: Adults Helping Youth
Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents ages 12-18. We will cover: ~Signs of addictions and mental illnesses ~5 – step action plan to assess a situation and help ~Impact of mental and substance use disorders ~Local resources and where to turn for help. Presented by West Texas Centers Please register in advance. CEUs are available for some disciplines. Teachers get double CE credits.
